TECNO Group Our Partnerships
Our Partnerships
At Tecno we believe in the philosophy ‘If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.

The Tecno philosophy on collaborations
Tecno believes in building long-term, win-win relationships with its partners, global and local. We are convinced on Pakistan’s rapid and sustained growth trajectory in close cooperation with China. The trend is shifting from “Made in China” to “Managed by China” and from “Import from China” to “Export to China”. Tecno is focusing on strategically positioning itself to capture the great opportunities emerging from these strategic shifts. We offer a strong foothold in the 240 million people Pakistan market and rich experience in meeting the expectations of our foreign partners, whom we want to collaborate with on the principles of honesty, integrity, transparency and relentless hard work.
Our belief in Joint Ventures stems from our conviction in the value of the synergies created when the unique strengths and perspectives of each partner come to the table. These synergies amplify our individual strengths, creating a magical equation where 1+1 becomes something far greater than 2. There is something magical in working together and winning together that a lone warrior can never experience.
All of this is only possible in an environment where honesty and trust are freely exchanged. In our belief and experience, it is only partnerships built on this solid foundation that truly flourish and leave a lasting impact.

Tecno's Joint Ventures
Tecno Group is involved in joint ventures with its 3 partners – Pak Suzuki Motor Company for auto glass manufacturing, Transsion China for mobile phones & e-bikes, and Maycom China for commodities trading. Here is some more information about our partners.

Pak Suzuki Motor Company
Suzuki is the largest automobile manufacturer in Pakistan and a major global player. Known for its affordable and reliable vehicles, Suzuki has sourced parts from Tecno for over 2 decades. In 2017, we took our relationship further by jointly establishing Tecno Auto Glass, which is the largest investment in Pakistan’s auto parts sector.
Transsion
Transsion is a giant in the global mobile phone industry. It is the world’s fourth-largest smartphone maker, managing top brands like Tecno, Infinix and Itel. Like Tecno, Transsion has a bold vision for the future. In recent years Transsion has expanded into many other future-oriented sectors such as e-bikes. In 2019, we launched our first joint venture together to manufacture smartphones locally, and five years later in 2024, we expanded this partnership into e-bikes, reinforcing our shared commitment to innovation and sustainability.

Maycom
Maycom is a prominent Chinese commodity trading firm with deep access to markets across China. It supplies the country’s rising demand for everything from agricultural goods to minerals. This penetration deep in Chinese markets provides a unique opportunity to tap an export market with near unlimited demand. Our collaboration is a practical representation of the shift from “Import from China” to “Export to China”.
